Here are a several pieces I did of Jimmy Page. Two are done on canvas while the middle piece is done on wood and carved using a router too allow for a more defined look and painted with acrylics. The first two can be found at Fine Art America!
Guns N' Roses done on wood, 3 dimensional using a router. Painted using acrylics. This can be seen on their Rarities 1985-1994 album cover as well as on their Greatest Hits, however done black and white.

Each aspect of the ship is carved to scale by hand and painted to the likeness of the original USS North Carolina. The Jimi Hendrix Experience's third and final studio album, Electric Ladyland was released in 1968. This double album made it to number one and was poduced by Jimi Hendrix himself. This is a great picture of this piece. The colors are really vibrant and you can see the slight elevation of his profile.
A piece I did several years back needed a little make-over. In a previous post, you can see the original work with a wood stained frame. What do you think? I think with this new darker look that it really brings out the art so much better!
