Back in December I annouced I was working on a large canvas piece. This is a piece I have been working on since August and can finally say it is complete! From the picture on the left, sketched and acrylic paints slowly bringing it to life.
Going for a more rustic look, I've carved and stained the lyrics to Stairway to Heaven. The symbols representing the four members of the band as well as the Hermit. Where I added two gutar necks in the piece here, in this piece the Gibson EDS-1275 has been added.
The Gibson EDS-1275 in cherry red was played by Jimmy Page in Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. This replica is carved entirely from wood.
