REO Speedwagon's 5th studio album This Time We Mean It was released in 1975 . Keeping with my ablum work, this was done on wood with aspects routered to elevate aspects of the album work, using acrylic paint.
The seventh studio album Audio Visions was released in 1980. Here I incorporated string, threaded into the wood to accentuate the beams of light adding to the multi dimensional effect. This is the second time I've added this additional material to my album covers. The first cover where threading was used is with Boston's Don't Look Back.
This was a little different. One circular piece of wood with paint, using only black paint to create Plant's face. Inspired by Led Zeppelin III
Going for a more rustic look, I've carved and stained the lyrics to Stairway to Heaven. The symbols representing the four members of the band as well as the Hermit. Where I added two gutar necks in the piece here, in this piece the Gibson EDS-1275 has been added.
Physical Graffiti is carved by hand and mounted into the wall to highlight the 3D effect. All aspects of the street are elevated from the wall including ladders, steps and garbage cans. Lights added, giving a street light feel when the room is dim.
Billy Joel

Van Halen's 5150 was released in 1986 and introduced Sammy Hagar as lead singer. This abum cover was also done on wood with acrylic paints.
Yessongs is a triple live album released in 1973. Carved 3 dimensionally to bring out the cover design done by Roger Dean
