I am going back to my roots. As you might know, my work first started back in the late 80’s using wood as a medium, in many instances making three dimensional paintings using a router and other carving tools to give depth to my work.
I have recently sold some of my original pieces, the 3-D album covers I had in the made in the 80’s and 90’s. That alone was amazing, to see fans out there who crave rock art! It also triggered a desire to go back to where I started. Working with wood as a medium to create rock and roll art.
If you have followed me before, you’ve probably seen pictures of where I paint with my easel, paints and other tools. That is usually in my home, in a room I have dedicated to my work. But I also have a space outside that has traditionally been used for my wood working tools. With new woodworking router tools in hand, I am setting to work on my first wood work! What that is, I won’t say. You’ll have to stick around and find out!
