Neil Peart

I read in the paper that Neil Peart passed away at 67 of brain cancer. His drumming was explosive. His lyrics transformed the band’s songs as a storyteller. He created elaborate songs like Tom Sawyer and Xanadu. Watching him play is a musical experience. My admiration for the trio, inspired me to paint 2112 back in 2015.

Farewell Neil, your music will always continue to play.
