Staying at home? Paint!

Since the stay at home order in the state of New York, I saved a considerable amount of commute time by working in my home. around two hours a day adds up to a lot of extra time on my hands to paint. In the last couple of months I finished two pieces of work. Brian May and Jimmy Page.

What are you doing to stay busy? Do you find yourself painting more? Take a look. Hopefully soon, I can make these available for print. Until then, take a look, love to hear what you think!

Brian May – Bruce Schmalfuss 2020

This is the first time I’ve painted Brian May – Astrophysicist and co founder of Queen. He’s responsible for such songs as I want it all and The show must go on! One of the great rock bands, I’ve painted Freddie Mercury, time to paint someone new and equally inspiring.

Jimmy Page – Bruce Schmalfuss 2020

I know I paint Jimmy quite a bit, Led Zeppelin being the greatest band of all time. This one was done while Jimmy was playing Trampled Under Foot. The color is intense and bright from the lights on the stage hitting him.
