Messiness inspires creativity

I don’t know about other artists but my work spaces are messy! I am also extremely productive, both from a creative and a professional perspective. Surrounding myself with music and things that inspires me, I find my creative juices flowing and I try something new or pick up a pencil and sketch out my next piece.

There is science to to back up that messiness is a sign of a free mind and that free mind allows for creativity and expression to flow. I don’t know if that’s the case but I do know, no one cleans my space. I know where things are and can get right to work as soon as I enter it.

Do other artists experience the same? I’ve never asked but I did think it would be cool to share with you where the magic happens!
