I need to share this. I received an email, completely out of the blue!
Back in 2018 I sold Physical Graffiti . Selling it was a moving experience for me given how much I put into making it. When I hadn’t heard anything after it was shipped and delivered, I was surprised and a little sad. Did they like it? Were they happy with their purchase? Absolutely nothing.
End of last month, I received an email with the subject line : Physical Graffiti Art. I opened it and was shocked! It was about THE piece I sold back in 2018!
Here is the email I received. Below are two pictures I received of Physical Graffiti and its home. Receiving this email and those pictures really got to me.absolutely I am thrilled to finally know this piece is appreciated and well cared for.
Hello Bruce, I hope this email finds you well! My wife (who bought your Physical Graffiti art piece for me as a gift) recently came across your contact information and being it’s the 50th anniversary of the Physical Graffiti Album I thought I would let you know how your original art piece was doing! I built a special place for it in my bar/music studio as you will see in the attached pictures. If you look closely, you will see an autographed pair of Jason Bonham drumsticks at the bottom. I am a drummer and lead singer and I recently got to play with Jason at a rock ‘n’ roll fantasy camp.
Anyway, It’s a piece of art that I truly love and everyone who comes to play music or to just hang out cannot believe the detail and wonderful work that was done on this piece. thank you for making this one of a kind piece!

I am very happy that you received feedback on your art that was purchased years ago. Knowing you as a personal friend, I remember how torn you were about selling it. Just knowing how much your art is appreciated must be so rewarding. I know it was difficult for you to part with the four wood pieces that I purchased from you. But as you know how much they are appreciated and enjoyed every day by me and family members and friends, as I have reminded you many times, must make you realize that you must share your talent with the world. Keep creating and letting it go(for a price) for so many to enjoy.
Cheers brother! Long live rock ‘n roll.
